The Mini Sauna was an experiment in how efficiently I could build a well insulated sauna for a reasonable price. This sauna is perfect for a single daily user, but can fit two people comfortably. The modified wood stove has an modern industrial look and increased stone capacity. A large view window connects one to the landscape while enjoying a sauna that heats up fast and holds its temperature well. A planted green roof further connects blends the structure into its surroundings. A small solar panel and LED battery setup powers the interior and exterior LED lights.
This sauna was entirely built with local Western Red Cedar milled at a lumber mill a couple miles from our shop.
