The bamboo sauna was our first permanent sauna structure. It sits at the top of a steeply sloping site, nestled in an urban bamboo forest. This wood burning sauna has clear western red cedar interior paneling and exterior siding. The benches are clear hemlock. The floors and stove surround are black slate tile. The attached deck and pergola makes for a wonderful place to take a cold shower and stretch in-between sauna sessions.
This sauna has been used 3-4 times per week by its owners and their guests since its completion in 2020.
